There are a lot of interesting tidbits in here, but perhaps most surprising from an American perspective is that of the 100 people, 59 would live in Asia, while only 8 would live in North America. Cars are also rare around the world--only 15 people would own cars, while the other 85 use other modes of transportation. Incredibly, 80 of the minimized population own cell phones. More seriously, the statistics on wealth inequality are galling--85% of the wealth in the world are owned by only 10 people, and 70 people own only 3% of global wealth.
