(DIY trouble) JK Rowling urges Scotland police to 'arrest' her via Hate Crime Act

EXCERPTS: Scottish minister Siobhan Brown said people “could be investigated” for misgendering someone online...

[...] JK Rowling has challenged the police to “arrest her” in a string of social media posts over Scotland’s Hate Crime Law. The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act came into effect today and will criminalise threatening or abusive behaviour carried out to stir up hatred against people because of their characteristics.

The Harry Potter author posted a series of tweets where she described several transgender women as men, including convicted prisoners, trans activists, and other public figures.

[...] Rowling, who has frequently criticised trans activism, reacted to the new legislation: “Scottish lawmakers seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their idea of femaleness, however misogynistically or opportunistically, than on the rights and freedoms of actual women and girls.

“It is impossible to accurately describe or tackle the reality of violence and sexual violence committed against women and girls, or address the current assault on women’s and girls’ rights, unless we are allowed to call a man a man."

Alongside Bryson, whom Rowling jokingly described as “lovely”, the author mentioned Katie Dolatowski, a trans paedophile who sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl in Kirkcaldy, Fife, as well as TV personality India Willoughby.

Andrew Miller, 53, who used the name Amy George, was also referred to by Rowling. Miller abducted a young girl and abused her for 27 hours in the Scottish Borders whilst dressed as a woman.

[...] Concluding her series of posts, Rowling said: “April Fools! Only kidding. Obviously, the people mentioned in the above tweets aren’t women at all, but men, every last one of them.”

India Willoughby, who was one of the 10 individuals mentioned by Rowling during her online rant, reacted to the posts.

The TV personality said: “What a sad pathetic sight. The best-known author in the world sitting up all night to write a mega-long troll post about me, because she’s consumed by a hatred of trans people. Completely deranged.”

[...] Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell told the same BBC programme that the exclusion of women from the new law was an “astonishing exclusion”. He said: “The big flaw in this bill is it does not protect women against hate.”

He added: “With anonymity being granted, this could open the door to vexatious and malicious complainants who will go after people and use the third-party centre as a way of getting back at people." (MORE - missing details)

How to gaslight her viewership, Rowling’s fans and Scottish lawmakers. It’s either the work of a master or someone who can’t defend using logic.

Daniel couldn’t say trans women are ‘biological males’. To say they’re women is like saying jellyfish are fish, totally inaccurate science yet there are people who believe it, people who rely on science. The ‘women’ tag is like an appeasement…from Google: the act of giving the opposing side in an argument or war an advantage that they have demanded, in order to prevent further disagreement.

In Illinois and eleven other states a man can change his gender without needing any documentation from a doctor or proof of transitional surgery, cosmetic and lifestyle changes, getting a court order, etc. IOW, like the Spanish soldiers at bottom, he could still continue dressing and behaving like a man, but be legally recognized as a woman.

This demotes "female" to a superfluous identity that anyone can easily adopt or acquire club membership in. The doe-eyed "herd feminists" don't even care about the disparagement, and that part of the "patriarchy" they traditionally complain about has figured out how to adapt and still exploit. Only the radical feminists (persevering through the TERF label) seem to have any clue as to what the original objective was, or that it was something other than being a footstool for or bending over to accommodate every other special interest group parading under the activist umbrella.

"To change your gender legally in the state [Georgia], you must obtain a court order and proof of gender reassignment surgery before being able to do so. For this reason, the National Center for Transgender Equality gives Georgia an F for not being a very trans-friendly state." https://thehobsonlawfirm.com/can-you-leg...n-georgia/

They actually gave the state of Georgia an "F" because it requires evidence of hormonal, physical, and outward changes. IOW, this supportive agency doesn't even want standards that ensure a sex switch on paper is something more than just opportunistic pretense. Any ___ reason a guy has from petty to grand to authentic for wanting to be declared legally female is okay. They just want the ___ numbers to grow.

Spanish soldiers changing gender to female for added benefits, higher pay
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/spa...r-BB1jql1r

EXCERPT: Spanish soldiers are changing their gender from male to female to earn certain benefits only available to females, including higher pay and better sleeping quarters, due to a self-identification law aimed at helping transgender people.

Forty-one men in Spain’s north-Africa autonomous city Ceuta have made the drastic decision to change their gender on official documents from male to female since the so-called “Ley-de-Trans” or “Trans Law” was implemented in March 2023.

Of the men in Ceuta who’ve changed their identity, only four have also legally changed their name.

A majority of the now-female soldiers have kept every other aspect of life, including male genitalia, sexuality, and even facial hair.

[...] Those going through the “change” are doing so in hopes of promotions and raises, according to the Telegraph, citing military sources.

Perdigones says he was encouraged to change his gender because of “positive discrimination” and has since received a 15 percent salary increase.

“For changing my gender, I have been told that my pension has gone up because women get more to compensate for inequality. I also get 15 percent more salary for being a mother,” he added.

The soldier is looking to use his additional privilege as a woman to sue for shared custody of his 16-year-old son, assuming the courts will give him a better chance...

Such a small concession, calling a transgender woman a she and honoring her identity. Why all the anger and outrage? It reminds me of when they (same crowd) used to get all worked up over gay marriage. People got over it. They will also get over transgenders.

I don’t think the truth is a small concession so I won’t be pretending biological males are women any time soon. The real culprits in this story are the Scottish politicians who showed everyone who the real transphobic people are and it isn’t everyone else. JK Rowling arrested for standing up for the truth would be as pathetic as it can get. I hope those transgender females get their PSA checked for prostate cancer early and often.

Such a small concession, not calling every other Republican racist and honoring that they might not fall into your stereotypes. Why all the anger and outrage? It reminds me of when they (same crowd) still gets racist and sexist over almost any Republican blacks or women. [Those] people still haven't got over it...

...but they sure do whine a lot about any speech they don't like applied to them.

Should we have hate speech laws against calling Republicans racist? If people can change their gender identity like they can change their party affiliation, why shouldn't disrespecting anyone due to any part of their identity be illegal?

Biological sex does matter (just one area of many differences related in the article below). Can't pretend it away in medical matters without health consequences. If all documents have been legally altered everywhere, then doctors and staff are further handicapped in terms of awareness. "You may be asked for your gender, sex assigned at birth, and your pronouns, but there is no legislation requiring you to disclose them."

Research uncovers differences between the sexes in sleep, circadian rhythms and metabolism
https://www.eurekalert.org/news-releases/1040788

INTRO: Women more likely to report lower quality of sleep and experience insomnia, while men are three times more likely to have obstructive sleep apnoea. Women’s body clocks are earlier than men’s. Nightshift workers more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, but risk is higher in men.

A new review of research evidence has explored the key differences in how women and men sleep, variations in their body clocks, and how this affects their metabolism. Published in Sleep Medicine Reviews, the paper highlights the crucial role sex plays in understanding these factors and suggests a person’s biological sex should be considered when treating sleep, circadian rhythm and metabolic disorders....
