Here's a rather different kind of unidentified space vehicle video. (Actually two vehicles in formation.)
The lines moving rapidly from left to right are stars. The objects of interest are the two dots moving slowly from top to bottom. They are definitely space vehicles in geosynchronous orbit. Both are transmitting on known frequencies.
The dot that moves more rapidly from top to bottom along the left is the defunct Palapa C2 satellite, an old Indonesian communications satellite originally launched in 1996 by a European Space Agency Ariane rocket from Kourou.
None of the amateur satellite watchers seem to have identified the two mystery objects, though I'd guess that the US Space Force knows since they track and try to identify everything.
What struck me was that two objects are flying in formation, alongside each other. We all know that the US, Russia and China are all working on interceptor satellites designed to match orbits with, inspect and if necessary destroy foreign satellites deemed a threat. So might this be somebody's test of such a system?
